Master reset NOT NECESSARY after updating radio, but it is suggested. The Memories do not need reset in the Master Reset process.

Firmware updates include the latest version of the “Ten-Tec Flash32 Flash Update Utility”

Version 4.06 of the Flash Update Utility allows you to remotely or locally flash update your Omni VII over Ethernet.

When updating the radio remotely over Ethernet you will want to make sure that you and your radio are on a stable internet connection.

The OMNI-VII One Plug source code and Visual Basic 6.0 Project released under the GNU GPL.

When updating the Boot Loader, follow ALL instructions as identified or you will have to send the OMNI-VII back to Ten-Tec to get it repaired. And yes, this update is required if you want to update your OMNI-VII in the future.

Third party modifications to this program will not be supported by Ten-Tec.
